Just because someone plays Beethoven badly does not mean Beethoven was a bad composer.

Just because someone lives the Christian life poorly does not mean that Jesus is not worth following.

God does not ask you to be like other Christians, He asks you to be like Jesus Christ.

That is a BIG difference.
